Ultima Forever is a free to play Fantasy Action RPG developed by BioWare Mythic Entertainment and published by EA Play4Free. The game had been rumored since two years ago and in July 12, 2012, the team behind Wrath of Heroes

Ultima Forever is described as a cross-platform game as it will support PC and tablets like iPad. Players will have ambition to become the ultimate Avatar by role playing as fighter or Mage and accepting the challenge from Lady British.

Ultima Forever is a remake of the 1985 post-classic RPG Ultima 4: Quest of the Avatar, focusing on small group confrontation rather than the traditional multiplayer experience.

The monetization of the Free to Play role-playing game is not based on the sale of energy, as is the case with EA’s SimCity and Zynga’s The Ville. If you invest real money in Ultima Forever, you should only receive early access to certain objects. For example, to get to a boat, players must solve a series of quests. Alternatively, they can also buy the boat directly in-game shop.

When Ultima Forever comes out is currently unclear, but EA Mythic and Bioware said in the press release “sometime this year.” Barnett himself was also unable to give any details on release date, but confirmed that the action role-playing game would already be in the alpha phase and just gets the final touch.
