Wordox

Wordox is a word spelling game on Facebook. On top of a 9 by 9 board, players are required to place the letters provided below in right orders to form words. The beginning word should occupy the center of the board. Following word must have at least one cross point with the early placed ones.

The gameplay is easy to understand since many people have learned the game in middle schools and there are even word spelling contests in many states.

However for none English speaking players, spell words that can be found in the Wodox dictionary seems a bit too hard. By the way, abbreviations can’t be distinguished.

Maybe it is the time to dig out your dictionary buried in your bookshelves and go over words that you are about to forget. Also it is a good chance for none English speakers to acquire words in an interesting way.
