Puzzle Adventures

Puzzle Adventures is a Facebook puzzle game where you need to complete jigsaw puzzles, simple or intricate, in order to earn ingame points. In the game, you are able to complete a whole picture by dragging and rotating those puzzle pieces. At the start, you will have a simple landscape and as you finish more checkpoints, you will be faced with more challenges and tricky problems, which of course, reward you more points.

Puzzle Adventures has two play modes:

1) Weekly Tournament

There are seven different puzzles in this mode. Each day there will be a different puzzle unlocked. You can play the previous day puzzles too. The aim is to have the best high score for each day since it affects the scoring. The total score for the Weekly Tournament will be the sum of all the best scores for all the puzzles played that week. You can also see the high scores of your friends. Come back every week to check out really cool new puzzles with little or no key requirements.

2) Adventure Mode

In this mode there are several worlds in which you can find several puzzles. Every world contains a path that leads you from one puzzle to the next. In some worlds the path splits and therefore offers two directions. If you choose the shorter path (meaning fewer puzzles than the other) the puzzles will be harder.

You can rotate tiles 90 degrees clockwise by clicking on them. By clicking on a tile and holding it you may drag it. To snap two tiles move them close enough to one another and they will automatically snap.

Coins
Coins are the currency of the game. They can be bought for Facebook Credits. You are initially provided with some coins to help you buy elements in the game.

Hearts
At the beginning every player has a limited number of hearts. For every puzzle one heart will be needed. Hearts are refilled with time, when you succeed to the next level or can be bought for coins.

Keys
In the game there are four different kinds of keys: bronze keys, silver keys, gold keys and diamond keys. With these keys you are able to unlock the next puzzle. The required keys will be shown when moving your mouse over the puzzle or when clicking it. For more advanced puzzles more valuable keys are required.

Events
During a puzzle one or more good or bad events may happen according to chance. A good event is marked by an orange cloud of stars surrounding one side of a puzzle tile, a bad event is marked by a dark cloud. If you solve a good event in time you will receive a “drop item” (see drop items), if you solve a bad event in time it eliminates something bad happening. If you do not solve a bad event in time an obstacle will occur (see obstacles).

Drop Items
Drop items may be collection items (see collection items), keys or boosts (see boosts) that drop after solving a good event in time according to chance.

Collections
There are five collections in the game containing five items each. Items are being dropped during a puzzle after solving a good event in time or can be bought. If a collection is complete it can be traded against other items like boosts or keys.

Boosts
In the game there are several boosts that help you solve puzzles faster or more easily. These boosts can be found at the bottom of your world screen. By moving your mouse over them you can see what they are used for. Boosts drop during a puzzle after solving a good event or can be bought either at the bottom of your world screen or just before starting a puzzle. Try to equip yourself with Boosts to solve the puzzle faster than your friends and acquire the best score for this puzzle.

Obstacles
Obstacles occur if you were not able to solve a bad event in time. They are a handicap to you. There are currently two different obstacles “freeze tiles” and “darkness”. When “freeze tiles” occurs you will not be able to move a certain amount of tiles for a certain amount of time. When “darkness” occurs, a certain amount of tiles will be blackened out for a certain amount of time.

Stars
Try to get three stars by solving the puzzle in the most efficient manner in a short amount of time. Try using boosts to gain advantage here.

Gifts
With gifting, you will be able to send your friends “Free Mystery Gifts” that will be opened when the receiving player accepts it. The gifts will comprise of Boosts/Keys/Collection items. You can receive gifts by asking your friends for gifts. Free gifts can be sent to a friend only once per day.

Daily Bonus
With the “Daily Bonus” you will be able to receive free coins once a day. The amount of coins grows when you log in 5 days in a row. This is only available once a day. Try logging in daily to claim your bonus.
