Overview
You have been chosen to be the greatest ninja of all times. Be the master of your ninja town to train powerful ninjas for your town. If you got attacked by other Kages, show no mercy to them! Retaliate with your maximum strength to get even. Here are the helpful tips that you might find useful in your town management and battle.
There are 3 ways to select ninjas in Ninja Showdown. First, you can click individual ninja to select one by one. Second, you can hold space bar and drag the cursor around ninjas you want to group select. Third, you can add ninja to your selected ninja group by clicking ninja with ‘Shift’ key hold on the same time.
To deselect individual ninja or multiple ninjas, you have to tap space bar. Then, all selection will be undone.
How can I assign a group to my selection?
In Ninja Showdown, you can assign specific group to your selection. You can assign from group 1 to group 4 using Group UIs on the far right side of battle screen.
To assign groups, select group of ninjas first, and then click any button from G1 to G4. You can see that color changes of ninja selection circle which matches to the button color you just clicked.
Now, to rotate through the group selections, you have to use arrow key() on your key board. When you do that, you will see your selections will rotate through.
In Ninja Showdown, all ninja units have upkeep which means the cost of having that ninja.
Population means the amount of upkeep you can afford. If you have 12 populations and you want to train Kata(1 upkeep), you can train 12 Katas in total.
If you want to have more populations, you have to build the House or upgrade it. To build and upgrade more Houses, you have to upgrade your Castle to the higher level.
Some ninjas have higher upkeep than 1. In this case, you will have fewer ninjas than the population numbers. For instance, Kata has 1 upkeep, but Medic has 3 upkeep.
To defend your town, you can just place ninjas on the field or make them patrol between point A and B. To make them patrol, you should select group of ninjas or individual ninja first, and click the patrol UI button on the right side of screen. Then, you will see the cursor changes into purple patrol cursor. With this changed cursor, you click the destination for patrol. Your ninjas will patrol between that point and original standing point.
How do I get EXPs for level up?
There are 2 ways you can gain EXPs in this game. First, you collect Tree and Rice resources from the Lumber Mill and Rice Mill. You will get certain amount of EXPs based on what you collect from these buildings. Second, you can get EXPs when you invade other players and destroy their Castle, Storage, Lumber Mill, Rice Mill. When you destroy this buildings, you will get certain amount of EXPs based on what you take from them.
When you destroy other player’s Castle, it will be counted as your win. In this case, you will get 1 Battle Point as one of rewards. Battle Point is extremely important when you research various techniques in the Ninja Academy(Tech Tree). You have to pay Battle Points in almost every tech. researches.
If you want to fight with other players and get some rewards such as resources, EXPs, Battle Points, you have to click the Battle List located bottom left corner of the screen. Here, you can find many opponents compelling to your skills and level.
In Battle List, you will find 2 tabs. One is neutral and the other is enemy.
Neutral tab is a list of random opponents which suit your skills and level(+3, -1). You can find as many opponents as possible here.
On the other hand, enemy tab is for keeping and managing your archenemies. Any one whom you attacked over 2 times will be automatically registered in this enemy tab. You can also ‘Set as enemy’ in the invade report window which pops up when you newly log into the game after an invasion.
The benefit of enemy level is you can actually get more Battle Points when you fight and win against higher enemy level users. If you win over 30 times against same enemy, enemy level of that user will be Guerrilla to you.
