Baby World

Baby World is an obnoxiously cute and funny game about the perils of parenting. Combining simulation with role-playing, the game takes players on a fun journey of parenting a cute little baby who is being watched over by some bratty, decidedly bored, ADHD-suffering “higher powers”. What ensues is the kind of hilarity any parent or wannabe parent would love, but wouldn’t wish on anyone else. Tread carefully, you’ve been warned!

BASIC GAME ACTIONS:

How to access inventory: You see those icons just above your friends list at the bottom part of the game screen? Look for a diaper bag there and click it. This will open up your inventory. Notice how the inventory has various sections in it for different types of items. Explore away! Oh and by the way, just click the “close inventory” button to return to default view.

How to feed: Food needs to be bought before you can feed your baby, there’s no such thing as a free lunch (wink). All food you have bought will go to the pantry section of your inventory. Open this section whenever you want to feed your little critter, and drag and drop the food out into the room. Once the food is inside the room, pick it up again and give it to the baby, or just click on the food to make the baby crawl towards the food and eat it.

How to clean: Cleaning supplies need to be bought before you can use them to rub your baby’s cute little tush all clean and twinkly. All cleaning items you buy go into the pantry section of your inventory. Open this section whenever you want to clean your baby, and drag and drop a cleaning item out into the room. Once it’s inside the room, pick it up again and start rubbing your baby with it for as long as it takes to clean them completely.

How to clothe: Whenever you try and buy new clothes for your baby, the old clothes they previously wore will be sent to the inventory. Your baby can still wear these old clothes if you want; simply access them from the clothing section of your inventory, and drag and drop them onto the little monster.

How to customize: Whenever you try and buy new body parts for your baby, the old ones your baby previously had are sent to the inventory. You can still access the old ones from your inventory whenever you want.

How to send a gift: Open the gift shop by clicking either the “gift” tab at the top of the game screen, or the gift button in your friend list. Once it is opened, select a gift of your choice and send it to your friends. Simple!

How to accept a gift: Look for gifts and other requests in your game’s inbox. This inbox can be opened by clicking on the “envelope” shaped icon just above your friend list in the game. Once inside the inbox, you can accept all your gifts and other requests. You’ll also be able to reciprocate and send gifts back to your friends from here. Please note that there’s a daily limit to the number of gifts you can send out.

How to explore the world: Click on the yellow taxi button on the bottom-left of your game screen to venture out into the enchanted game world. From here on, you can access a lot of various locations. As the game progresses, you’ll get to explore these places more deeply and uncover the incredible secrets of Baby World!

How to visit friends: First make sure ALL your friends play Baby World. No exceptions! You can then access whoever you want to visit through the friend list at the bottom of your game screen. Just scroll around to look for the friend in question and click on their box. Easy!

How to access other rooms: You can access other rooms in your house via the house map on the right side of your game screen. Note that you’ll first have to unlock, and then renovate, any room before you have full access to it.

ADVANCED GAME ACTIONS AND STRATEGIES:

Quests: You think you know what’s best for your baby? Well rude awakening buddy, you’ve been divinely intervened! The gods of Mount Babypus are whimsical little rascals and interfere on cue with your attempts at having a normal, sane parenthood – often with hilarious implications! You can get to know them via the various quests shown in the game. Our full sympathies are with you.

Leveling up: Higher levels unlock special items and locations in the game. The more experience points you have, the more you’ll level up. The fastest way to earn experience points is through completing quests and nurturing lots and lots of neighboring babies (in addition to your own lil devil).

Which foods to use: Short duration foods earn you the maximum profit per minute in the game. On the other hand, long duration ones can earn you a lot of coins, but not a great amount of profit per minute.

Which cleaning items to use: Short duration cleaning items earn you the maximum profit per minute in the game. On the other hand, long duration ones can earn you a lot of coins, but not a great amount of profit per minute.

Adding neighbors and playmates: Having a lot of neighbors for you to nurture is key for leveling up and earning the game’s currency.
