Overview

Torpia is a free to play real time strategy online game developed by Webgamic BV. It tells an epic story in medieval age of Europe about the struggle for Torpia which is an amulet with the great power to control the good or evil spirit in human.

It is said that its owner would have the ability to rule the whole world. As this news is spread on the harmonious peaceful land, people gather together to argue about the method to obtaining the amulet. Some residents support the idea to build a strong nation with economic construction, while others believe in the power of weapons and make a decision to defeat their opponents in aggressive war.

Players create their characters and select a faction either the good or evil to join in. The gameplay is focused on economic construction on the residential area of good faction and the deployment of military force by evil faction.

The ultimate target in this game is unifying the whole country and establishing a prosperous empire, players loving peace have to interact with other players loving battle. Because the development of each party is relied on the other, good players have to establish an alliance with the evil.

The good player who is aimed at boosting economic strength should collect different resources in quest. With enough stones, timbers and other construction material, they can set up buildings for different purposes. For example, they can build schools, hospitals and markets etc.

However, good players cannot battle in field. As the evil faction may invade them and rob military supplies, they should make use of gold, ore and steel to cast swords, crossbows, hand bows and other weapons which can be exchanged with the evil forces that will send out troops to defend the home of good.
